Customer Reviews

"My husband and I ate lunch here today. The service was exceptional! I had the hamburger steak and my husband had the ribeye. Both were delicious! The peanut butter pie was fabulous!"

"I was super impressed with Walton's. I love a good catfish place and this place didn't disappoint! I came here with family on a Saturday night as a huge crowd was clearing. I should have known from the full parking lot that this place was superb!! I had the three catfish plate with two sides. Prices were reasonable, food was awesome, and the waitresses were so kind! The owner came around after our meal and checked to make sure everything was okay! Love that kind of service. Hush puppies were some of the best I've ever had!"

- Bonnie S.

"Walton's feels like you're sitting at Grandma's kitchen table. I dined here with my grandfather for his 92nd birthday. The staff was so friendly and patient. The menu offers the traditional southern cuisine at very decent prices. I ordered from the daily specials board. You can get a meat and 2 vegetables for $8.95 or a 4 vegetable plate for $7.95. You can't beat the prices here! The fried chicken breast was golden, crispy, tender, and juicy. The fried okra was crunchy just how I like it. The lima beans were seasoned to perfection. The cornbread muffin wasn't my favorite, but they offer rolls or Mexican cornbread as well. My dad and grandfather thoroughly enjoyed their fried fish, fries, slaw, and huspuppies. They also have a wide variety of homemade pies like possum, pecan, Key lime, coconut, etc. If you're looking for southern comfort food, then Walton's should be your next stop for lunch or dinner. I hear they have the best fried chicken livers, but they were out the day that I visited. I'll be back next week to try those. ;)"

"Brought my Gf here to eat and we had a ribeye and a chicken finger plate absolutely amazing flavour and so well seasoned on both we absolutely loved our stop here and plan on coming back!"

"My wife and I decided to stop by there just by sheer chance. We were hungry and there it was. It was a nice rustic look even the outdoors had that kind of feel. They had a nice arranged flower garden. When we got inside there was no hostess there to seat us we were told just to find somewhere to sit. The server came around her name was Sissy and she was very helpful. She actually sat down at the table with us and talked about how the food was prepared. My wife and I both decided on the steaks the ribeye. Mine was cooked medium rare hers was medium. The steaks were cooked very well and had a good flavor. The baked potato was cooked nicely. It had the baked potato taste to it. We also have ribs but we haven't tried them yet. We got him to go. All in all the experience was good. The server is what made the experience enjoyable. The food was good but not as good as a service. I live an hour and a half away from that place and I can't wait to go back."
